Who We Are

Events By Design is the dream come reality of Andrea Lathbury. Andrea has been designing personalized events for over 10 years. She specializes in tailoring each event to her individual client’s dreams and, in doing so, making every event completely original.

Growing up in a rather large circle of family and friends, Andrea was always attending various events from birthday parties to weddings and everything in between.

As she got older, she started to notice they were all pretty much the same cookie cutter parties she had always attended, just with a different guest of honor. She was always delighted to throw parties at her own house just to have the opportunity to make them original.

As it turned out, she wasn’t the only one. Her parties (and culinary skills) stood out enough that people started asking her to host their parties as well and her career was born. Andrea went on to get degrees in Event Coordination as well as Culinary Arts. Now, with over 1500 weddings and events designed in the Bay Area and Las Vegas, she is ready to help you bring your dream into reality.

Who We Are

Cheyenne has been planning events for the last 8 years, her attention to detail and the ability to read her clients personalities, enables her to throw the event of dreams. After meeting Andrea 7 years ago and finding out that her dream of lists, schedules, and people pleasing could become a reality, a dream became a reality.

Cheyenne first discovered she loved planning events as a child when her mother would ask the simple question of "what party theme do you want for your birthday?" and it would soon turn into the best party of the year, even if it was for a bunch of 2nd graders!

Cheyenne went on to planning events for her schools, choir concerts, charitable events, holiday parties, and even theatre cast parties. (and that was before she graduated high school). Since then, Cheyenne has moved on to loving the process of weddings, corporate events, and family parties. Cheyenne is also a skilled hair and makeup artist, and will not only plan your event, but also help you look your best for all your guests.
